Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Summit Leadership Network (“Summit”). By joining the Network, participating in our programs, events, workshops, ambassador activities, or using our website (collectively, the “Programs”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions
1. Definitions
“Summit,” “we,” “our,” or “us” Refers to Summit Leadership Network, its founders, authorized team members, and volunteers.
“Participant,” “member,” “you,” or “your” Refers to any individual who signs up, attends events, applies as an ambassador, or engages with Summit activities.
“Programs”
Includes all Summit events, workshops, meetings, online communities, ambassador duties, leadership sessions, and related activities.
2. Registration and Tickets
Membership in Summit is free and open to eligible students.
By joining, you agree to:
Provide accurate information during sign-up or ambassador application
Participate respectfully and uphold Summit’s values
Follow any guidelines provided by Summit team members
Behave in a way that supports a positive, safe community
Summit may deny or revoke membership for misconduct, misinformation, or violation of these terms.
3. Participation and Conduct
Participants must:
Treat all members, speakers, and team leaders with respect
No harassment, discrimination, bullying, or disruptive behavior
Use Summit spaces (including Discord or online groups) responsibly
No sharing harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
Summit reserves the right to remove any participant from programs or groups for violating these standards.
4. Fees and Payment
Summit Leadership Network does not charge mandatory fees, tickets, or membership payments.
If optional paid opportunities are ever introduced in the future, they will be clearly outlined and voluntary.
5. Intellectual Property
Unless stated otherwise:
All Summit materials, branding, presentations, and resources belong to Summit Leadership Network.
Participants may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute content for commercial purposes.
Personal note-taking or posting event highlights on social media is allowed, as long as it respects the privacy of attendees.
6. Media Release
By attending Summit programs, you acknowledge that:
Photos, videos, or recordings may be taken
Your image or voice may appear in Summit promotional content, recap videos, or social media posts
If you do not want to appear in photos or videos, notify us at summitleadershipnetwork@gmail.com.
Or inform a Summit team member at the event.
7. Confidentiality
Participants are expected to respect confidentiality during group discussions, leadership activities, or ambassador meetings.
Do not share personal stories, private information, or internal planning outside the Summit community.
8. Liability
Participation in Summit programs is voluntary and at your own risk.
Summit Leadership Network is not responsible for:
Injuries, accidents, or personal harm during events
Loss or damage to personal property
Third-party actions or venue conditions
Summit’s total liability, where legally applicable, is limited to the amount the participant paid (if any), which in most cases is $0, as participation is free.
9. Event Changes and Cancellation
Summit may update or modify:
Event schedules
Workshop details
Speakers
Locations
Online platforms
We will notify participants of changes whenever possible.
Summit may cancel or postpone programs when necessary.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
